Corporate Retirement In any business the retirement plan is critical to both the owners and employees. A well-designed plan should effectively meet the needs of both. However, developing the plan can be as much art as science because effective plan design considers the business as whole, from products and services, to long-term strategies to employees and the business’s potential growth rate. When the proper plan has been designed and implemented, it can provide a great feeling of security and strength to all involved.

| 401k plans The needs of employees take on special significance in a 401K. Not only does the Department of Labor have high standards for guarding employee interests, but a 401k plan that does not thoroughly address these interests can actually become a liability. This is why we focus on employee communication as a priority, which goes beyond the normal wrestling over funds, platforms and features. Such features absolutely come into play, but it makes no sense to create a plan if the people you want to help don’t know how to use it- or don’t want to use it. Among other efforts, we conduct group meetings and individual meetings to gather feedback from the employees so that management can gain a better understanding of their needs and modify the plan accordingly. Executive compensation Using the right strategy, non-qualified plans not only help high income earners put more toward their retirement, but also creates a strong connection to the company, which helps retain valuable employees. |
